Matthew Hanwell joins NGA as a new Business Consulting Lead for Social Media

Helsinki, January 7th 2013 – NorthgateArinso has announced that Matthew Hanwell (49) has joined the company as a new Business Consulting Lead for Social Media in the Northern Europe Region. The main focus of this role is to engage with NGA customers, leads and prospects and create value proposition for sales. He will strengthen NGA thought leadership by participating in seminars and conferences as a speaker. Matthew will also ensure NGA employees are educated on social media and support in internal roll-out of social media programs.

With over 20 years of experience in the area of people centric information technology in high-tech industries, Matthew ( has significant experience in HR IT and very large network in the field. Matthew worked at Nokia from 1997 – 2012, where he held various positions within HR and IT with global responsibility including HR Director Community and Social Media. Before joining Nokia, Matthew worked at Digital Equipment Corporation for over ten years, finally as a European HRIS Manager.
